Howdy Folks,

I am so excited that football season has a begun. I used
to play alot of football when I was a young’un. My friends
and I would go to this schoolyard and play all day.

On one partickular day, our football was taken by Mrs.
Stanken. She lived across the road from the schoolyard
where we were playin at. My friend, Dub, had kicked the
ball into her yard and broke one of her gnome yard
decorations. She rushed out in a housecoat and scooped
the ball up and ran back inside. So, for the next ten
minutes my friends and I chased Dub all over the place
and administer an atomic wedgie. It had to be done.

When we caught him the boys and I agreed that he should a
replace the ball. Dub ran off home and came back with a
substitute, sort of. He said that he didn’t have another
ball, so he took his sister’s purse and filled it with
his old man’s undershorts to, as he put it, “Give it some
bulk.”

Well, we couldnt argue with that ’cause we were all
terrified of old lady Stanken. Gettin our ball back from
her wasn’t an option. The game started up again. We played
for about an hour unitl Dub’s father and sister showed up.
His sister yelled, “Where’s my purse, you little squirt?”
His father shouted, “Where’s my jockey’s, boy?” And the
chase was on.

Dub ran, like a nose in wintertime, all the way to the next
county. Its because of storys like that that I love the
game of football… and women’s purse. Wait. What?
