up enuff that the snow is a meltin’ like crazy. It’s a
good thing too ‘cuz I’ve been runnin out of places to

Last night my car was broken inta by some young punk kids.
They shattered the window on the driver side door. I was
quite huffy about the hole thing until I realized that
without the window it would be like drivin’ in NASCAR.
I can jump in and out of the car just like the NASCAR
boys do. Just like I always wanted too.

Then the wife had to burst my bubble and say, “Well,
honey. Those darn kids ruined your birthday surprise.”

I think the really suprise is goin ta be when I forget
about the window bein broken and I sit in all that glass.

Howdy Folks,

Taday’s new picture reminds me of a time down home when
my buddy Dub bet me a bottle of Wild Turkey that I couldn’t
mess with the neighbors’ cow.

I told him, “yer on!” I put on my stunt cape, my motor-
cyclin helmut, and weldin goggles and tried to ride that
bull like I was a in the rodeo.

Well, I looked more like a rodeo clown cuz that 950 pound
monster chased we all around the pen for 3 and 1/2 hours.

Needless-to-say, I got that bottle of hooch and got drunk
enuff to forget about the bull and then try to ride him
yet again. I was only in the coma for two weeks, but I
recovered quickly enuff, but fer whatever reason watchin
the rodeo makes me wet my pants.

I really wish I knew “why?”.

I’ve made a rather important decision that will shirley
alter the die-rection of my life. Jethro, that’s me, has
decided to go to school… you know… college. That’s

My wife is so proud to hear this. She’s so supportive
with this hole college thing. She’s great. The only thing

It’s amazin’ what you can teach to others. The wife and
I recently teached the dog how to use the toilet in the
trailer. Its awesome! He even flushes it and puts down
the toilet seat when he is through usin’ it. We are so
proud of him. We couldn’t help feel good about his
accomplishment.

My wife turn and said to me, “Hey, that means that there
might even be hope for you.”

I responded with, “Hey, I can flush if I want!”

Howdy Folks,

It is kind of nice that this weather is getting a bit
better. It was about 40 degrees out their today. Nice.

It has been awhile since I have really enjoy the outdoors
and the fresh air. I can’t wait for summer to come back so
I can go fishin, tubin, runnin, jumpin, BBQin, Monster
Truckin, Squirrel chasin, slip ‘n slidin, chili cook-offin,
grandma wrestlin’, playin what’s that smell, puttin the
laundry in the back of the truck and going to the car warsh
to warsh them clothes… and other stuff too.

Summer is goin to be awesome! I know you can’t wait for it
either.

My son challenged me to a burpin contest last night at
dinner. I told him that we should wait until after we ate
because we are polight and sivilized. He was kind of bummed
out, but he waited ’til after dinner. He’s a good listener.

So, we had the contest. The winner, yours truly, was praised
by his boy and I did the same for him. He said, “Nice game,
Daddy.” I almost cried, but I held it together until the
smoking section of the Denny’s gave me a standing ovation.

I balled like a baby. Family moments are so special.

Howdy Folks,

I’ve been lockin horns with the little woman about almost
everythin we been talkin about recently. We talk about
vacations, we fight. We talk about what to eat for dinner,
we fight. We talk about weather er not dijon mustard is
to fancy for eatin, we fight.

I don’t know what to due. I seems like if my opinion
differs from hers it’s wrong. And if she’s accused of bein
wrong then I’m in deep. I don’t understand her sometimes.
She can be the sweetest person on the earth on minute and
the next…

I love my wife. I’ve loved her from the moment I saw her
at the gator wrestling expo in Morehead, Kentuchy back in
1972.

I think the reason my wife and I argue so much is that
sexual tension thing. It’s tough to get-it-on with a trailer
full of young’uns and Old English Sheepdogs. Sometimes I
want her to wrestle me like one of them gators and… I’ve
said to much.
